Overview

The client's internal platform had grown feature by feature for years, and the interface had grown right along with it — dense, inconsistent, and slow to onboard new users. The brief was to simplify the experience without cutting the functionality that made the tool indispensable in the first place.

Outcome

Reworking the information hierarchy and cutting the workflow down to its essential steps meant new users could find their way around without a walkthrough, while the people who used it daily got faster at the tasks they repeated most.
